MAN & LIFE

Today man lives in pleasure, wealth and pride
Tomorrow, poor or life itself dances.
Taday, he lays plans for many years to come
Tomorrow, sinks into the silent tomb
Today, his food is dressed in dirty form
Tomorrow, he himself is a feast for worms
Today, He enjoys the halls built to his taste
Tomorrow, in his coffin he’s confined
Today,he has delusive dream of heaven
Tomorrow, cries too late to be forgiven
Today, he lives in hope as light as air
Tomorrow, he dies in anguish and despair
Afterall all these, what is life?

DREAMS

Just this morning I was involved in a discussion that got me stirred to write this piece. As young men poised to seize opportunities in the line of business and investment we got so gripped with the product of our imagination that we couldn’t conceal the excitement of how easy it is to become millionaires. I was cut short in the middle of my analysis of how I’m going to make myself happy with my wealth with this short story.
Sometimes ago a farmer had a bright idea for the next planting season. He said “This will change my status permanently”. He was so full of excitement that he could not resist the temptation of telling his only son (7years old) this new idea. “This next planting season, I will use my farmland to cultivate cocoa only. My son, imagine how much I am going to make from just one cocoa tree not to talk of 3 acres of cocoa plantation. By the end of the season, through my new cocoa business I will be rich enough to live the kind of life I have always dream of. But the most important thing is that I will get a donkey (present day Hummer Jeep) for myself”. The son was so happy about this new status that he stood up and he responded “Dad I will ride our donkey up and down this village and show off to everyone that our status has changed. Besides that, stunts that you won’t be able to do with the donkey I will do them for you to see”. His father got annoyed and snapped “is it my donkey that you are riding like that? In that angry mood he drew his sword and cut off his son’s head.
Though it may appear funny, I got the lesson from the story. It’s also applicable to you too. Let all your emotion go into making your dream come true rather than getting carried away by the end result.

Mustard Seed

Just now I heard about the twist the mustard seed faith just took.

It is now being made available for people physically with the teaching that the seed has the supernatural power to wade off EVIL SPIRITS and open doors to breakthroughs. Interested individuals are even thought how to maximize the power of the mustard seed by placing it in specific places in their houses, offices, business places etc.

In an attempt to reach out to people, the services of marketers are even engaged. Imagine!

So what do you call this? Mustard seed faith?

About relationships

ARE YOU REASON,SEASON OR A LIFE TIME?

When someone is in your life for a REASON. . . Itis usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

Then people come into your life for a SEASON. Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never
done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have
learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life.
